Melinoe is the Princess of the Underworld who grew up at the Crossroads on a curriculum of witchcraft, weapon drills, and one extremely supportive frog. Hecate raised her, the Fates gossip about her, and Chronos has a standing appointment that he keeps trying to reschedule. She swore the oath before she could properly hold a blade, and Hades 2 players have been yelling “Death to Chronos” ever since, usually right as Scylla’s band kicks off another set. Somewhere between casting a Hex and checking on Frinos, she became the reason half the Underworld remembers what hope sounds like. Building and painting her is the closest most of us will get to a passing grade from Hecate.
