She sends the dead with a dance on water, marries the wrong guy to buy time, and then quietly tears down a thousand years of Yevon dogma because the system was lying the whole while. Half the fandom is still not okay about the laughing scene, and the other half is still not okay about the ending. Then she came back in X-2 with a pop concert and dual pistols, and honestly, she earned it. Building and painting her is a good excuse to sit with all of that again.
